Not sure what the Picture button and the +/- below does (for the TV Tuner option I would assume), but if you want to control your HU-803 radio from the back seat, or tuck your side view mirrors in with the touch of a button, these are THE toys to have... only E56.44 for remote, E325.11 for sideview mirror kits. Additional cost for shipping, insurance and PayPal charges apply.

Re: Guess what is in the Volvo boxes... ("R" Kelly)

wow.. the retractable mirrors are cool! how much is that in US$? And how much would it cost to ship to US?
Is remote the only way to control the folding mirror? I would hope I can add a button on the center console for it. Are these mirrors also heated?
Does Volvo also have outside mirror that dims with the inside rear view mirror?
Sorry for the newbie questions, I haven't been able to go through all the info on the forum.
The remote look exactly like the one I have for the NAV. I wonder if one can replace the other. (Edit: ok.. not EXACT, but the shape and size are the same , with some extra buttons)

Re: Guess what is in the Volvo boxes... (Parts @ Boston Volvo)

Hey John,
Is this the exact same kit "R" Kelly is providing? Is that price for one or both mirrors? You state that they are for 2006 models but can they be used on 2004-2005 models also?
Thanks,
George

Software download, 7-switch panel (plus any blanks that you might need) are additional (as is UPS shipping).
These kits are available for all (and only) P2 cars. There are part number & price differences between the two different mirror styles that these cars wear.
The late style mirror was intro'ed mid MY '04 - so the same $272.53 kit will work from mid-'04 to '06. This one part number is currently on back-order with Volvo. I called up John and verified. It's for both mirrors. I ended up ordering from them too, but the parts are on backorder for a bit.

Can you post the part number he is selling you? Next day delivery here, no backorder (helps being close to Ghent I guess).
Just wierd that the remote was cheaper here, yet he can get other European only parts cheaper. Of course, they pay 600 Euros for Pegs here...
And you are all smoking crack. The HU-803 remote in the picture above is NOTHING like the nav remote (I have the nav remote).
