Anyone on here have an aftermarket front grille? What company did you get yours from? I know IPD has them, are there any other companies I should know about? Any other info on aftermarket grilles would be appreciated. Thanks

IPD is probably your best bet. They carry various grilles, including the one from SAM.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has tried doing a backlit Volvo emblem? I have seen this on Integras, Civics, etc, and thought it was pretty cool. Thanks.

I am the only one I know that has done this. Are you looking to buy or you want instructions? Does it have to have to be actual indiglo (electolumicent panel) or can it be made using a cheaper method of backlighting?

I have a couple pics of it. I don't have a digital camera but took the pics with a video camera and imported the video. Quality sucks but whatever.

Edited pic of my car to show more what it looked like. The camera had a hard time with the right color at night.

Close-up of the emblem, my grille was pretty crapy and beat up.

I can make one but it will have to wait until march. I really busy right now.

No, that's actually from MS Design. Everyone else is getting from them, but IPD has the best price if you live in the States.

Colin, where'd you get that first grill? I really like that understated look! I imagine it's all the same grill, but, I like it w/nothing on it.

Thanks for all the help on this. The reason why Im getting a new grille is because my old one is busted. Therefore, I am not interested in painting my stock grille. I have decided on the IPD silver grille. Thanks again.
