So I am running Google Chrome for the first time.<p>It seems fine so far, faster than the latest version of Firefox, so we will see how it works out.<p>Anyone else on the bandwagon?

I got Chrome, but I really don't see what the advantage is... My machine runs Firefox v3 plenty fast, and it really doesn't take up much resources. Chrome is okay but it won't let me scroll up with my scroll wheel, only down. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthdown.gif" BORDER="0">

the rumor in my neighborhood is that chrome has cookies that are "mirrored", ( i have no idea what that means), and are very, very hard to remove. it is an advertising selling point i am told.

and, i might add, directed to you barry, and other mac users. my friend said mac folks are just too smart. they probably would not get sucered in because your software is rather brilliant. just what i heard, i know nothing.<p>i mean i really do not know what they were saying to me, oh, but there were more than one talking..........nothing to follow.

Only they could get away with selling an MP3 player for $400, or a "smartphone" that isn't really smart at all. My nokia has more features than an Iphone, works better, and won't cost me $10,000 over 3 years in data. Too bad nokia's marketing department has their heads up their asses.<p>Sorry, i love to rant about Apple cause I always get harassed by people about how they're the greatest (I work part time for a large American PC company). I've never actually heard reasonable justification from anyone who claims macs are the greatest. Okay maybe there are less viruses, but what kind of self-hating hacker is going to waste their time writing a unix-based virus so that they can affect 10% of the computer users who probably never bank online anyway? And macs do crash, even the "amazing" new ones, I have witnessed it. What gives? <p>Sorry folks, i'm done.

i know sort of what you are saying. we have pc's. and apple is overpriced for my book, but that is one of the things apple cares about, 'cache'. i do not have accent ability on this computer, so my french is lousy, it always was, but i tried.<p>well, anyway, the consensus is that chrome is a test, at least in my 'hood.<p>but i don not disagree with you yk.
