Much has changed since I purchased my S40 five years ago. I have two kids now and recently turned 40 so it was time for a change.
I just sold my baby and purchased the new Nissan Maxima SV Sport which I must say is a very nice car. It's a larger "luxury" sedan with 290 horsepower so i'll still have some power to play with when necessary.
I must say I loved my S40 and had very few problems with it. This car was BSR chipped for four years with no issues so anyone worried about tuning should rest a bit easier.
So long all.

Re: Goodbye S40, it's been a sweet ride. (jclaib)

Enjoy the new ride! Out of curiosity, how much did the 40 go for? Or was it a trade in? Always nice to see real market cost and not just KBB or NADA.

was your car ever lowered? Your car motivated me to start modding my car . Congrats on the new ride.

No it was never lowered. I almost pulled the trigger a few times.
It sold for $11,500 with 82,000 miles on it. It was in very good condition.

I almost traded my S40 T5 for something new many times but I never did it. One thing is for sure though... my heart will be in pieces for few months when it finally goes...

Re: (jdsr917)

I think I got lucky. I put it on Craigslist and sold it the next day. Craigslist is generally not the best place to sell an auto.
