My rims have some serious curb rash. My local shop wants $175 ea to refurbish. I can of course buy refurbs online for $199 and about $280 for new. These are 18" Sleipner rims.

I see some touch up paints on Amazon that seem steep for what they are. I'm referring to the smaller bottles not the spray cans. I really don't want to spray the whole rim, just want to touch up the rash.

There must be something out there that won't cost me $30 for a tiny bottle and yet still do a half way decent job.

If it's just a little rash, I've used chosen a color from the hundreds of options in $7 bottles at Autozone. You don't need wheel specific paint, just get body paint.

Always found a close match and never had any issues with the paint flaking. You'll still see grooves from deep rash, but the color will be masked.
