Well, I'm new the world of volvo but I picked an s60r last week. Got me a 2005 in titanium grey, fully loaded, MT, just under 20k miles. Well, I didn't get the car at a volvo dealer, so I need to find one to go to. I'm in central Massachusetts (worcester), but I don't mind driving a reasonable amount to find a good dealer. It really sounds like you should find somewhere that is familiar with the R cars.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I also need a little work on the front spoiler, as part of it was missing when I got the car, so suggestions on where I could get that fixed would be welcome as well.
Thanks for any help!
Ryan

As for your spoiler, buy the piece from a dealer, any dealer and have ANY body shop paint it and put it on. This is not rocket science

I can't vouch for Boston Volvo Village's service department, but their parts department sure rocks! Email John Sharisky at [email protected], I'm sure he can hook you up with a spoiler.

If Worcester is "central" MA, then you can't be far from western MA( ), so come on out to Bedard Bros. in Cheshire. They've been great to me.

Cheshire?!? Isn't that between Pittsfield & North Adams?
Farrell Volvo in Southboro would be a fourth of that distance, & has done good work on my car . . . replaced the rear subframe that cracked when pressing out one of the older-style rear control arm bushings . . . no parts left over after the vehicle was re-assembled.
- Mark
