the local dealer is selling Gislaved Frost 2's and 3's for the winter. I've seen these written highly of on this forum but I'd like to get more info.

The Frost 3's looked like they have a less agressive tread. How are these tires in wet, slushy and icy conditions. I wouldn't have to drive in deep snow, mostly the wet snow conditions and black ice.

How is highway noise too?

thanks in advance

I have no experience with them, but I was also jsut at the dealer and was thinking the same thing. They are offering a $70 rebate right now if you buy wheels/tires and $40 rebate if you buy just tires. These are both Nordfrost models, not sure if it is the three or the 4.

I just had the Nord Frost 3 installed this week. No snow yet but on the dry at high speed they are very stable (up to 95mph). The studs make them noisy but that will take care of the black ice better

I read a review and the NF3 were the best rated winter tires next to the Nokian Hakka 1-2.

Hope this helps,

JF
