The wagon is currently blue/green, but will be canary yellow on may 22nd. Should I leave the trim black or get it painted also? I have 18" black Zinik Sabinis on the car. That is why I am considering keeping the black trim. Give me your opinion
There was a similar post recently & most agreed that with some colors, painting looks good, but with others, like yellow, black looks better. You can freshen up the trim if it's faded with some products out on the market - they last about a month before needing retreating. IMO black would look nice with those wheels & "maybe" some tint on the glass. Post some pics when you're done. Good luck.
Re: Getting the 97 wagon painted yellow. Keep the trim black or paint it? (yellow95)
Well if you ask me, I would paint the trim at the same time as the car. But there is one thing I would do differently, rather than paint the trim yellow, why not paint the trim titanium or metallic black?
I did this on my red 850 years ago, but on the roof rails and whatnot. I left my door handles, side trim, mirrors, and R-spoiler grilles in body color. IMHO, if you spray the titanium onto the door handles, mirrors, side moulding, roof rails, and match the brake calipers... you will have a sex on wheels sorta ride.
