They are excellent for the price. I drove them in the snow (both, light and deep), wet and hot dry weather. They are holding up very well. Got about 6k on them and they still look like new.
But i'm not Oscar though...

I'm looking into them as well for the 17s. They are very highly rated on TR based on what I've read.
19s Chris? What are you up to?

Isn't this an oxymoron and is it wise to go this low on a VR that recommends 97?

Re: General Exclaim UHP ? (MagoonR)

that is something I did notice and is one of my hesitations.
91 is rated at 1356lbs - 5424lbs for all four, if I understand that number correctly.

Re: Michelin XGTV4 vs HX MXM4 89V

I tried the MXV4 Vrated tires on for size for the second set on my 98T5S70. I was not happy! They lasted alot longer than the factory XGTV4's ( 50k instead of 30k), but they also gave my car some mushy feeling in the handling at highway speeds (80-110MPH). I was scared to go faster. I went back to the XGT again for the third set and they have already got way too much wear on then for only 20k. What do you think about going to the MXM4 on the vehicle? 205-55-16

Re: Michelin XGTV4 vs HX MXM4 89V (pvolvo1800)

Since you brought up Michelin, look at Pilot A/S. A really nice tire as long as your snow ain't too deep. Definetly won't let you down at high speed.
