Re: Gauge Pod ..... thoughts ? (Chilled Man)

Seriously? I say this as a friend, "Regardless if the gauges were wrapped or not that looks terrible!" Obviously you have no qualms about modifying your vehicles, just consider that the add on gauges do not need to be seen all the time, "hint hint".
BTW: I drilled out the steering lock on the coupe today.

Re: (Chilled Man)

It works, decided to install it on my vehicle first since there are SO MANY different ways to make it work. Will have additional security with parts that are coming in shortly. Stop working on those gauges and I will tell you my idea when we work on your vehicle.

Re: (Chilled Man)

Hey there,
Assuming they are a 52mm gauge why not do a single din radio and a three gauge panel either above or below it? Would be simple, cheap, and easily reversible.
regards,
Matt

Hmmm,
You could put the boost gauge in the drivers side vent. Would look pretty clean if done properly. Could also do an a-pillar setup although some don't like the look.
Matt

Re: (Chilled Man)

Stop right there, just keep the gauges till you know the car is running well after the upgrade. Time can be better spent on other projects I'm certain. Fired up the button on the bench and let me say it is "like sliced bread".

If your c70 dash has the center channel, take the speaker out and mold the pods there...
