GARY @ RONAL USA

After reading the bashing of Gary a few weeks ago, on Swedespeed, I almost hesitated to make a major purchase from Ronal. I wanted the 18" LZ more than any other wheel and made the decision to buy. Being a Sr. executive in the largest financial services firm, in the US, I expect my group to deliver the best service possible. My hopes are that when I spend my dollars, I get the same.

After doing a Google search, I discovered Gary is a passionate car enthusiast and believes in his product. In addition, his daily ride is a S60R. I placed an order for a set of 18" chrome LZ, tires and a spare from Gary. I am an extremely difficult person to please since my expectations for service are quite high. This transaction happened to be one of the most desirable in a long time. Gary spent a great deal of time with me talking about the corporate culture at Ronal and how they do business. It is a rarity for me to spend a few thousand dollars over the phone, with someone I never met, who just got shredded in an auto forum for having a "bad attitude."

Gary's professionalism, dedication, and follow-up were outstanding. The product is phenomenal. I can clearly see that Ronal runs a top notch shop. The wheels were impeccably packaged, with all the accessories and were even polished. From what I understood from my Google search, Gary is the GM for Ronal. After speaking with him, one would think he was the CEO. The entire transaction, from Gary, to the billing dept., to the shipping dept was perfect.

I am confident that all members, of this great forum, are successful business people, entrepreneurs, and tradesmen. While we all know that one person does not make the company, you assimilate your first interaction as the most powerful. We always take the time to exploit a bad experience but rarely take the time to praise the good ones.

I will always buy every set of wheels and tires from this organization for as long as I am driving (which will hopefully be another 40 years). Ronal and Gary, thanks for the world class service and Gary for being a first class guy. If any members have any questions about the transaction or product, please IM me. Best wishes to all members for a safe and prosperous holiday season. Cheers, Dan.

Say, you wouldn't be THE Dan DeSimone: Sr. State Farm Insurance Salesman by any chance?

The guy in the picture doesn't look 39 to me.

Great research skills, indeed. Only problem is, Closter, NJ is a far cry from Greenwich, CT. Do some additional research. Some people have way too much free time to waste on these forums, rather than simply accept an elementary bit of positive feedback. Life must be pretty miserable for you, chap. No need to respond with the usual rhetoric. Accept that someone did a good job and move on. Take out your frustrations elsewhere. OK. Peace.

Easy Guys. Dan writes a decent post with merit. No need to cream him. If he makes a million dollars a year, and has an R, it shows good value judgement. I would invest with him. oclv
