I noticed recently that my fuel rail valve is leaking a bit of fuel. I have searched and I haven't found any threads pertaining to this issue. Is there a fix or should I start looking for a non-leaking fuel rail?
Technically yes, if you can find a valve core. I don't believe it's sold by Volvo as a separate part. That's also assuming it's leaking out the valve itself, and not the seal between the valve body and the rail itself. If it's the latter, you definitely need a new rail.
Replacing the rail itself would be the fastest. You might try calling a couple of injector shops and see if they can replace the valve core for you.
