I have a 2001 V70 2.4T. I just got it back from the Volvo dealer because it was hesitating and the ABS light was on. They replaced the electronic throttle control module under warranty. They were going to charge $1300 for the ABS module, so I decided to have my mechanic take it out and have it rebuilt. The car was still hesitating and the check engine light was on, so i checked the trouble codes. My code reader displayed P1663, which turns out to be a fuel demand command signal circuit malfunction. What needs to be done to correct this problem? Could it be related to not having the ABS control module installed?
