With past port injection engines, Saabs and Acuras, I used Chevron Techron periodically as a precaution. Any recommendations on what to use in our T6e, which has DI?

As I understand DI additives won't do any good. The fuel never sees anything beyond the combustion chamber, not like port injection engines where the fuel keeps the intake ports and valves wetted and clean. I'm not even as picky about top tier fuel in our Audi for that reason.

DI engine problems with intake fouling are blow by related with no intake tract cleaning. Additives won't help.

Thanks for the insight on the intake ports and valves. Wouldn't there be some benefit to the injectors themselves?

I understand that DI fuel systems run around 2,000 psig. I assume that there isn't going to be much to effect discharge volumes.
