That is correct that is the color it comes from Volvo and you paint it to match what you have same as any body part you buy from the dealer.

Fits all 98-00 V70's (including XC, R, etc.) and also all 850 wagons.

Pretty straight forward, no drilling.
Two people for the final install makes it easier to perfectly align it, because when you remove the tape and if you're off a hair, the tape is so strong it's a SOB to remove it again to re-align it
