This squeak has been getting progressively worse over the last few months. At first I only noticed it occasionally, ... thought it was temp/humidity related.

I believe that the noise is coming from the control arms. Just a bit of a bounce on the front of the car produces the squeak. It's very noisy now, and driving around the rough city streets in my neighbourhood is beyond annoying.

Am I right in my diagnosis?
Is there any cure, or will I need to replace the control arms.
( The Struts and strut mounts are new OEM ).

I jacked one side up, removed the wheel and put a jack under the control arm. There is no noise until the arm is up at it's normal loaded position.

Still not sure where the noise comes from.
