So I did 20 hours of driving last weekend and I noticed that there is a noticeable shutter in the steering wheel of the car at highway speeds. It is also felt in the vehicle, but most drastically in the front.

I dont recall this happening before I just did a lot of maintenance to it, mostly to the engine, but I did replace the ball joints and control arm bushings (front control arm bushing is now poly and rear is rubber)

The shutter only seems to be related to speed, braking and RPM have no effect. Running 4C still and the modes do not seem to change it.

Any thoughts? Where do I check first?

Had a similar vibration recently, and my steering also felt loose (floaty?) at highway speeds. The vibration was indeed the wheels being out of balance, and the slop in the steering was the tie rods. Had all 4 wheels balanced, tie rods replaced, and a 4 wheel alignment and now it's good as new.

For what you're describing, I'd start with getting the wheels balanced.
