Hello all,

I've recently noticed that the front end of my car seems to be shaking/rumbling excessively on the highway and while braking from highway speeds. I originally only noticed the rumbling when I braked and assumed it had to do with bad rotors. However, the more I notice it, I realize that I actually don't feel anything in the pedal--it's mostly in the steering column and causes the whole front end of the car including the steering wheel to shake. Today on the highway, I actually noticed the shudder while I was driving at about 70 mph, with no braking involved. For a moment, I thought I had a flat the steering wheel was shaking so badly, but when I got off the highway and stopped to look, my tires were fine. From what I can tell the alignment seems to be fairly close, and my tires are almost brand new. Any suggestions or thoughts on what may be causing this? I normally wouldn't mind but this is getting to the point that I'm beginning to think it may be a safety issue. TIA for your help!
