OK - just got my 2001 S60 T5 back from repair after rear ending a SCHOOL BUS! (I didn't do it, honest). Front end passed under the rear bumper of the bus, taking out the hood, fenders, and most of the front guts. ouch. Anyway, bodywork looks good but I think I'm missing some parts on the air intake duct that passes under the front upper cross memeber. Anyone got a picture or a description if the opening of this intake tube (that leads to the air filter) is attached to the bodywork in anyway? Also, are there clips in front of the airbox that hold the elctrical loom. Thanks.

Re: Front end rebuild (myVolvoS60T5)

How come I never get any helpful replies from this site? If I was talking about some expensive mod everyone would chime in. Anyway, my local dealer was helpful and I learned the front air duct just hangs under the front cross-member without any attachment. TFN.

I just have to say this

- You're a psychiatrist according to your profile. You figure it out.

But I guess you just answered it, checking how a stock car should be, you go to a dealer lot to take a look. The S60 forum is getting very little traffic nowadays since the model is old.

In order to p;rovide the part numbers for you, someone has to have the Volvo VADIS of VIDA DVD. I have it, but haven't figured out how to extract the information without retyping it. Don't check the forum every day, so might have answered you if I could get the data, and you hadn't already received the answer.
