You ever have one of those days where everything you touch goes sideways? I went to go wash my caR and decided to rotate my tires first. My spare, which is full size and gets a turn in the rotations, has two friggin' screws in it! Turns out when it came out of the rotation last time I didn't realize it had damage - just a lucky choice I guess. Took it to the tire shop and one of the two screws was causing a small leak. Patched it up and moved on to my original intent of washing the car. I bought a new hose to use, so I go to put my old spray nozzle on it and it's frozen on the old hose, ugh, go get the wrench and pry it off. Next, I go to unhook the old hose from a bib in the garage and, as it turns out, I didn't turn the water all the way off so it sprays all over me as I detach it - I guess that's why it seemed so difficult to unscrew . Decided to clean the engine bay, sprayed some Simple Green solution in there and as I'm wiping it down I get a nice cut in a finger from getting to close to a sheet metal lip, now I gotta get a band-aid which, of course, won't stay on my finger because it's too wet/soapy. Ever try washing your car while holding a bandage on your finger? Not easy. At least the car got cleaned, albeit somewhat bloodstained.

Put an upgraded version of the AEM water/meth pump in and got my injection tubing shortened up a bit my reconfiguring my inline filter setup. The flow gauge I got has been helpful in getting bugs worked out in performance of the WMI kit, for example, I get the tubing inserted into the new pump and test sprays are not working properly, I go check the input line and it's not plugged in quite far enough - push it in there better and it's back to expected values.

On another note.

Rants

Ummm really nothing...oh yeah...Last sunday I had one of those I can't believe I did that moments where I was going to a family party and realized that the house was diagonally to my left rear so I figured...oh well I'll just cut through the grass area a little and I can swing right into a parking space....well I forgot how low my car is and it uprooted a rock large enough to total my Left front LCA and create a nice scuff all the way under my undercarriage. Luckily, things came out a lot better than they could have but...Needless to say I need to do a Total Front Suspension Overhaul...which the parts are on order for along with some new shiny Eibachs. On a good note the food was pretty good at the cookout.

^^Very cool!
we thought so, It needs a different color for sure. We are still trying to decide if it should be raced or parted. The motor is brand new and for the price it was a no brainer. if it gets parted, the motor will be kept and placed into a sierra cosworth.

I technically own it since it was my cash that bought it. I'm trying to get my brothers sti wagon so we are 'negotiating' :D I don't think my brother can resist having a ford rs escort cosworth and a sierra cosworth in the same garage.

Nice Cortina!

and great answer Bob!

Rants: Stomach sickies.. ugh. stayed in so far today... hope it doesn't wreck a very busy weekend....
Tut, Tut, Pooh, looks like rain...
found a little spot I need to fix paint on the R. Had to have been there from the dealer... grr... oh well.
Had to take time out to go find a different floor for the front entry since the contractor effed up the last of the stuff we picked out and can't get it any more.

Raves: The Kitchen looks AMAZING. They are all done in there. Got a couple of spots to finish in the dining room.
The new floor for the entry looks waaay better than our original pick.
Ended the month at 115% to plan. Even with having a crap ton of time off to take care of the house this month.
Steampunk swordfighting tomorrow... at Cowtown...
Volunteering at Special Olympics on Sunday (lots of Camry drivers there... lol, oh, wait... I shouldn't insult the Special Olympics like that)
All the new stuff for the caR is ordered and ought to be start showing up any day.

Drinking: Coffee. Tea later. (still staying away from the C2H5OH ...)

I think that color is AWESOME! You can definitely see it coming! (but I am generally known for not being quite right in the head)

More like you thought about off roading and pulled out at the last second, only to find you effed up your car.

Awesome Cortina! They never sold it in the US, right? So this was an imported one?

Rants:
-- When I tried to do an oil change two weeks ago, the drain plug was on waay too tight. Now that it needs scheduled maintenance, I am just going to be "**** it, Let the shop take care of it"
-- Still haven't put on my UR braces yet. And I do not have time this weekend. Grrr.....

Raves:
-- Confirmed (to myself): Going to get a 318ti (preferably 1998) within the next couple weeks. A car for me to play around with without worrying that I will be left without a vehicle. Probably do a s50/s52 swap next year. :D
-- Helping my cousin move from CT to Boston this weekend. I haven't been to Boston in a while, so this should be nice!

RANT:
Up for work at 545am, couldn't sleep at all last night
Transmission has been a bitch but drain and refilled three times and added some Seafoam TransTune and she is shifting beautifully. Gonna order IPD kit and a 12qt case of 3309. The fluid was dark dark brown when I drained it even tho I had a place flush it with my own 12qt case of 3309 less then 20k miles ago (i don't think they did anything tho, shady bastards!)

RAVE:
POOLS OPEN!!!!! Gonna be spending most my time there :)
Replaced engine mount (with poly) and it doesn't vibrate as much as I thought it would.
Replaced nasty spark plugs, next will be ordering new coils (HD or OEM?)
Saving money just incase tranny blows up!

DRINKING:
Pepsi in the glass bottle, sooooo good!
