On the 960 inside the headlight housing is a pigtail that runs from the 9005 and 9006 bulbs to the back of the housing where the harness from the car then plugs in. Turns out this was bad. Anyone have a busted housing with this harness I can take off your hands? Volvo dealer tells me that this small harness in only available with a new headlight assembly$$$$.

I'd check for a unit at a pick and pull.
