This is a one owner McIntosh 4100 receiver bought (by me) in 1979.<br>This is the first solid state (no vacuum tubes) full one piece amp/receiver that Mac made and it has 100W per channel, 3 speaker outputs and about 3 line outs.<br>The sound is unbelievable and clean.<br>Probably all of 200 hours at low to med volume on it.<br>In 100% condition both mechanically and cosmetically<br>It comes with the original owners manual.<br><B>These cost new in 1979 about $2000!!! </B>There was nothing that came close in quality... and in price! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/eek.gif" BORDER="0"> <br><B>Asking $1000, </B>which is about what a perfect "low mileage one" <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0"> sells for when they (rarely) come up for sale!<br><A HREF="http://img528.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mcintoshreceiveru.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/1650/mcintoshreceiveru.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A>
