I have had 4 sets of wheels on my car prior to these Volutions(in 7 months). All other wheels were ok but these are perfect! So perfect that 2 of the 4 wheels and tires did NOT have one weight that was needed for balancing. My local tire shop does alot of custom work. They have only seen 2 perfect "no weight balances" in 50 plus years of sevice to our community. I had the last two on the same car! WOW. The quality of these wheels is much higher than the price. The fit and finish is flawless. So to Scott Hart and Cameron at IPD for the wonderfull product and second to none service! I know they are a common wheel on ouR caRs and that is what kept me from purchasing them in the first place. If one is contimplating the same thing as I was, just do it.!!!! The small sacrafice of having a common wheel on ouR caRs is just that. A small sacrafice. Now having them on and seeing the difference in quality from the others wheels, these are the ones for me!Great job IPD

Re: For those of you looking to add Volution 5's to your ride!???Hats o ... (ForceReconTrojan)

I have already had 19's on it and the ride was terrible! And I fried a set of front rotors in just 400 miles. The car has been fine (rotors) untill I put the larger wheels on! I had this trouble once with a E46 M3. I came stock with 18's and I went to 19's and the rotors were toast (warped) after 600 miles. From what I have read, once the wheel gets bigger The rolling wheel weight is alot greater(even if the new wheel weighs the same as the old) versus smaller wheel and bigger tire. Thus the abuse that the rotors take trying to stop greater rolling wheel weight is the reason for the warped rotors. So I went back to 18's and I love the ride of my car all over again.

I have 20's on my truck which was an upgrade from 16's and did not upgrade the brakes. Yea I should have with that big of a change, but I didn't. I've got about 10,000 miles since the rims and I've only had to do the pads once. You shouldn't be warping rotors that fast.
By the way, Volutions are great rims, I'd consider them, but I'd rather get cheaper 18's and put the rest of the money into other upgrades.
