Has anyone installed fog lights on an S60 themselves? The dealer wants $300. Volvoworld has the lights for a lot less, but I am wondering if it will be worth it with all of the potential electrical issues. Especially being that I am still early into my warranty. I am also wondering how difficult putting in the switch will be.
Thanks,
[Modified by snap95, 1:59 PM 1-15-2003]

Re: Fog light install (snap95)

Here is an old thread about the fog light install.
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=5846
According to Yannis (GrecianVolvo) you need to go to the dealer and get the software downloaded to use the foglight. Hope this helps.

$300 for fog lights installed? That's a pretty good price. The dealers in my area want $400.

Re: Fog light install (snap95)

I'm having mine installed on my S60 2.4T this comming Monday. Cost is 300 Euros. The kit on volvoworld.com site doesn't include the switch, which they will charge you an aditional $96 which makes their price the same as the dealer. Can't wait to see the difference in look of the car.
