So I have a 2006 Titanium Grey S60R and am doing a front mount intercooler and just don't know whether or not to leave it alone or go stealth with black. Looking for member ideas
Ultimately I will choose but I just want to poll the forum.
http://********************/smile/emthup.gif Here is the paint that I will be using if anyone has any concerns about making the FMIC less efficient.

I guess it comes down to what kind of attention you want.

Do you want to have the red light revving Hondas?

As is the car really can't be a sleeper, I say leave it alone that way if a rock gets kicked up there isn't any paint to chip.

I suppose you are right. A Titanium R with sport body kit is not, well how do you say exactly subtle. The whole honda red light reving action took place all the time in my previous Silver S40 with the factory 15 inch chrome wheels before any provoking and especially the second I would rev and chop my throttle a massive hiss___! would release from the CBV as I had a EST intake http://********************/smile/emthup.gif . The car was easliy good for a sub 7 second sprint to 60! But now with my R unless I hear a roots, vortech, or turbo whine I don't even bother, 1 because I am not looking to get a ticket and what's the point? To prove a turbo 5 AWD can spank a FWD 4 ?
So anyways to the point. After reviewing this link http://www.bellintercoolers.co....html I think I am going to leave it plain as I think there is just enough contrast for a good look! (The paint chiping thing also made me think a little bit, how often am I going to be having to touch up my cooler. Final thought is that I can always paint it later if I feel the need or want to!

Update: I will continue to monitor this poll until I actually do the PhMIC until then though the current standings are
Winner as of 06 June - 8 votes... Leave it alone and show off that big cooler!!! Thanks for the input! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Picked up a unique product off a site that is more like a happy medium not black but nore of a non glossy charcoal it will make it slightly darker and take away the shinyness...
