Hi,
Just thought I'd warm up my newly created account here with a question about FM transceivers/transmitters. I've got a 2007 C30 with the Performance sound kit, meaning I've got no aux in, no iPod dock and - I love my car, but this really annoys me – a CD player that can't handle anything but plain audio CD's. No news for you guys I guess.
Anyway, since I don't have any way of hooking up auxiliary inputs right now I thought I'd investigate FM transceivers. Some say they suck, some say they're okay (don't think I've ever met anyone praising them though). I thought about the Belkin TuneCast, but then read a trustworthy review saying that the more expensive Kensington FM transmitter kicked ass compared to the TuneCast. On the other hand, a colleague at work said the Kensington performed absolute crap in his BMW so now I'm back to nothing.
Can anyone recommend any of them (or another, for that matter) or should I just stay away from them and stick with CD's?

Re: FM Transceivers/transmitters, worth the bucks? (tobbe303)

Check out the C30 forum and the s40, xc90 forums, they are all MOST sound system vehicles and if you google search them you'll find good info about using FM transmitters with them.
This forum is the usual place for audio, etc, but some things are so model specific and the key threads end up being in their respective forums.
This forum has some good posts about using fm transmitters ipod adapters.
