I'm living in Jacksonville, Florida and to my dismay there is no one supporting or promoting car meets. I would like to get a few of us together, even if we get a few people from south Georgia. Let me know if you want this to happen.
Hello!
I'm in Jacksonville as well, a freshman at JU.
You need to join Stateside Euro, a european car forum in Jacksonville.
http://statesideeuro.com/index.php
It's mostly Vdubs, but there's a fair number of Volvos on there too. They meet on Thursday nights at some restaraunt around here. The details are on the site. I can never go cause I have practice then. But I've heard it's a great time.
If you're not on volvospeed, you need to be, cause that's where most of the club events are talked about for around here. There's lots of stuff happening in Orlando usually.
And I'm trying to get a car show put together for JU Flight Team in the next couple months. Don't have any details yet, but keep that in mind.
That's all I can think of for now. Let me know if there's anything else you want to know!

Hi everyone! New member, as you can tell. I've had Volvos in my family since 1996 (1 960, 1 S40, 1 S60, 3 S80s), but have never needed a mechanic except for when I was in Miami. I had a nice family-owned Volvo repair shop I used down there, but now I'm basically on the southern border of Palm Beach, and I'm looking for a shop in Palm Beach or Broward counties. I'm about to buy a 1999 Volvo V70XC to actually work on and mod, so I'd like to find someone in the area I can take the vehicle to and trust that they know what they're doing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
