flat tires/cracked valve stems

Two flats in two weeks on my 1997 S90. Both caused by cracked, leaking valve stems, Michelin Tires. Repair shop checked other two tires at time of second repair and discovered those stems were cracked as well. Extrodinary Arizona heat may have contributed to problem.
