The car handled the 800 mile trip back to Maryland beautifully. It’s extremely comfortable and refined cruising but turns into a completely different beast when you lay into it. Prior to this my other “fast” cars were a 987 Boxster (non-s) and a Mk7 GTI that was mildly modified and tuned. Neither of them pulled nearly as hard as this. Im gonna have to be careful not to get in trouble

I ended up averaging 28.8 MPG according to the car, although that number was a bit lower until I got into Virginia

Here’s a few pics of her at the Buc-ees in Florence, SC (had no ideas these existed outside of Texas and recommend stopping if you pass by it just for the experience and perhaps a bag of Beaver Nuggets). Going to spend this weekend giving her a nice wash to get all the bugs/grime off from the trip. It’s been a while since I’ve had a car worth washing/detailing myself, so I’m looking forward to it.

question:
My car is completely stock but Is that Elevate a cross brace, or a pull tonneau cover for the rear deck?

Mine may never get tint...but a tonneau cover is just what this car needs (I'll design and make one if I can't find one).
And is the V O L V O rear deck logo blacked out? I was thinking about doing that for a more updated look too (maybe).
