Waxed and polished the car today, and the girlfriend agreed to model for me... Thought I'd post some updated pictures of the car. I've got an 6000k HID kit for the fogs, EBC Slotted rotors, Posi Quiet pads and Evolve dead pedal on their way, so I'll post pictures once all those are on too. Enjoy...

Any suggestions or questions are appreciated... Thanks

Awesome awesome pictures!!! I am very jealous of both
. My car is slowly turning into your in terms of cosmetics, but the black version
. I love how you kept it clean and simple. I hope you don't sell your car after you finished all these mods.

Haha at first I thought you meant you got your car(=girlfriend) to agree to model for you LOL

NICE pics man. I love your car, and your girl is GORGEOUS, I didnt realize your car was in the last few pics until I took a second look. One suggestion, get the tails clearcoated, the matte texture isnt flattering to the rest of your beautiful glossy paint.

Don't listen to Sana on the clearcoat, don't clearcoat your tails to match your car, clearcoat your car to match your tails.
Also, in the pic with the sport steering wheel it looks ginormous and beefy: is it really like that? I'm looking to get one but didn't realize it was that much thicker.

Nice car! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (chromecarz00)

LronSigh: The color matched columns are silver carbon fiber. The pictures don't do it justice because of the light they throw in direct sunlight. Trust me, it adds a sweet look. As for the lens, are you referring to the tail light paint? or my camera lens? Tail lights are 2 coats of some import tail painter (hence the matte finish) and I'm rockin' the Sony alpha with the 18-75mm on the photos. Hopefully I'll be using the A350 pretty soon here, and swedespeed will have to get another server just to host my pictures! YES!

carreragt7: Haha, if only I could have the whole car in a matte finish! I wax it too often though, I think I'd ruin the look. As for the steering wheel, YES it is that beefy. Don't be discouraged though, it is one of my favorite upgrades. It has the most comfortable feel you'll ever experience. The grips at 10 and 2 make for a solid feel in spirited driving, and the lower part is very comfortable to hold for cruising. You can't see it in the picture because her hand is on it, but I have the aluminum shift knob too. It really finishes out the look of the interior (Aluminum trim from Volvo, aluminum bezels and door pins from IPD, oem sport pedals...). Go for it, you'll be happy...

chromecarz00: She went to Redondo Union, and is now getting her GE's out of the way at ElCo, then will be transferring to CSULB with me. She might look familiar because of some other modeling she's done. Allana ring a bell? If not, then she must just have one of those faces, haha.

Thanks for the comments and questions guys... keep em comin'

Hey is it possible to get some close up pictures of the sport steering wheel. I recall getting a service car with the aluminum inlay steering wheel and damn the quality bad. It was like shiny black and the feel felt very worn down. Is the one you have the smoth shiny leather or the sway leather feel? I might be wrong but there might be a difference between aluminum inlay steering wheel and the sport steering wheel.

I may be able to help you there with some pics I have of mine. I hope it helps. From what I can see from Racer's pics, it should be the same.http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Are all sports steering wheels perforated leather like that? If so that is awesome.
How much did you guys pay for yours? I've found a few places that sell them for $350-400, wasn't sure if that was reasonable or not. My wallet doesn't think so but my eyes and hands say hell yes.

Re: (40 Rouge)

Oh, I'm getting one, I just don't want to pay too much. I am after all just a college kid and I hate paying retail for anything, lol. I've also spent a ridiculous amount of money on my car lately so I need to help my wallet recuperate.
