Admittedly, some Find of the Day features are better than others. That said this is definitely one of the best finds to ever come across our desks, something that we'd gladly sell a kidney for.
This Ex-works Volvo 242 Turbo Rally car was campaigned in one race of the 1983 European Touring Car Championship before being converted to Group A rally spec, and entered in the 1984 Swedish Rally Championship and various hill climb events. In 1985 the car was made to be right hand drive, and entered in the Scottish Rally Championship. In the time since, the 300hp rally car has changed owners several times, eventually making its way back to Sweden in 1999.
