After several years of research, test drives, normal life troubles we finally heard today that our XC60 will be ready on 22 September. We where going to get the new V70 (we hoped for a diesel but that's another story) but when the XC60 came out and we did a test drive we where hooked.
So the question is what sort of events are going on in Sweden and Norway in the middle of September? We figure that we will be there about a week and are really excited since we've never been that far north before.
Later
John

You'll probably find much more detailed event lists on the individual tourism web sites for the countries in question and, especially, the cities you're planning to visit. For example, Stockholm has a detailed event calendar available at:
http://beta.stockholmtown.com/...d=/en/ (use the drop down menu to select To Do > Events )
As a detail, and I realize I'm fighting a losing battle, the term "Scandinavia" technically includes only Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and not Iceland which seems to have been included by about.com.

Re: Finally Made the Jump (Munin)

Regardless of how the term Scandinavia is used outside the region, the terms Nordic countries and Nordic region are used officially and unambiguously to identify the nations of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland as well as the Danish territory of the Faroe Islands and the Finnish territory of Åland as politically and culturally similar entities
From Wikipedia
http://www.scandinavianconnection.org/
We include all the Nordic Region nations as "Scandinavian"
