Yep, not quite as nice as Kai's HREs back in the day...but a nice change of pace in any event.
Went with Ronal R38 with ET30 offset and 225/40/18 tires. (18 X 8) Original plan was the Heico Volution X but the price was way, way too high for non-forged wheels.
I've got to say that the difference is well worth it. The car is more stable and has a filled-in look, for once. Now my next thing for the weekend is to install a 355mm 4-wheel big brake kit and some other maintenance items.
Lowering comes in another month or so, before it gets said.

Thanks in advance for the honest feedback!
Cheers,
Prospero

Very nice wheels. I'm not quite sure how I would describe the look, but I might call it a "classy" or "touring" look, where the Heico's would be more of an aggressive look. From the pics & your signature, it appears the car is stock height. If it is, lowering the car might make it look even nicer IMO, but it looks nice as it. When installing wheels where the brakes, etc are exposed, I have found that even if you aren't into the painted caliper look, a quick coat of silver/aluminum or even black paint to clean up othewise dirty/rusty looking exposed parts makes a difference (or just a good cleaning helps). Nice!

Re: (Prospero)

did you consider the ronal R39s at all? and if you don't mind me asking how much did you spend?
I'm back people, law school has let out for the summer and my Precious (my car) is in need of some attention.

Re: (tigger4mayor)

Nope, the R39s were just too busy for my taste. I wanted the R38 since they are a twin cousin to the Heico Volution X wheels...but at half the price.
Cost wise, Gary gave me the advertised deal on his site. Great service too... I took a chance on going with Ronal seeing that Gary had been flamed for bad practices in the past...but all that looks to be behind him now. My wheels were shipped in 24 hours and had them within 3 days of payment...
Bang for the buck, I am super pleased. I really don't think that I could have done more for the money.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Prospero
