When I first bought the R, the previous owner had no remorse for curbs and bumps. Friend of mine hooked up the job for free. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>BEFORE (It was a lot worse than it looks here.)<p> <IMG SRC="http://www.aww-kittah-aww.com/up/files/472/100_4101.JPG" BORDER="0"> <p>AFTER<p><IMG SRC="http://www.aww-kittah-aww.com/up/files/472/100_4345.JPG" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://www.aww-kittah-aww.com/up/files/472/100_4344.JPG" BORDER="0"><p>Just need to get it detailed now. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

On the way, there was a huge pot hole, hit it, blew out my tire, and cracked the right winglet pretty bad. Paint started chipping over time. They look great now.

Whats the best thing to use on a cracked winglet? Just grab any epoxy or is there something better? I would think bondo will just crack when it hits something.

The winglet was cracked pretty bad. He applied the bondo adhesive mix, let it dry, sanded it, and you couldn't tell it had been cracked. I just don't know what adhesive he used. I'm guessing that would prevent the bondo from cracking.

I really wasn't there for all the repair work. I am gonna go back pretty soon to get my rims powdercoated. I will ask him if he can give me a step by step of exactly what he did.

Except my cousin, he always lowers all his cars, he is the most careful driver I have ever seen. His G35 was only 2 inches off the ground and never scrapped when I drove with him.
