I've just spent all night, literally, playing around in the features section, and basically building it out. We're a little thin on articles in some section, but I think the layout works well for expansion. I just wanted to throw this out there to see what you all thought.

George,
What about doing features on some of the cars that show up at the local get togethers? Take a look at what all we have in the area. There is Mark's 850 (Terence's some time ago) with the modifications to the turbo and injection system. My 850 with the custom paint, blue LED dash, 185k miles, and other goodies. Kai's C70 (if it's ever finished ) There are some pretty neat cars that are in the area and have some sweet mods to them. Maybe a feature on the stereo systems that everyone has done. Maybe a feature on engine mods among the group. Maybe even a feature on the... Well, I'm sure you get the point. There is a huge resource right down the street from you. I would be willing to spend a day or so doing pictures and articles. Maybe we could even do a few tech sessions where we cover doing stereo installs and bulb replacements in the dash area. Even little things on how to torque your wheels and remove door panels. I know there are many people that want to paint their door handles and trim, how about a feature on how to remove and replace the handles and trim? I would be more than happy to take mine apart if you want to do the pictures. Anyhow, just some ideas to get some more content that nobody else has yet.
Prospero
Hey Matt, yeah Terrence's old car got me to thinking. There are some nicely done cars here in the DC area.
Feature cars are kind of a mixed bag. The Volvo tuning scene is kind of thin in the USA, but growing every day hopefully due to our help ). Anyway, I've had to throttle back just how much the cars are modded that make the cut, as compared to the VWs we shoot where there's a plethora of heavily modded cars out there that are VWs.
Also, I think the Volvo owners taste in modification tends to range much like Audi where there is the wild, but there are also many more people with sleeper like modification, hence the direction of our 850R project.
I'd like to feature some of the local cars. My problem is, I can't continually do 850s, at least not all in a row. Kai's C70, when it is done is a potential, and I have a P1800 shot that I just need to get the details on (a little hint, check the feature car section mainpage for a peak at that car).
The one guy who came, forgive me I forget his name, with the Titans on a 240 sedan, said he just bought a 262 Bertone coupe that the turbo motor and the Titans will go onto....also without the Landau top. It sounds like it'll be a sweet car when it is done, and we'd love to feature it.
I also think we'll feature historically significant cars..even newer ones like the V70R or the 850 Platinum Edition if we can get our hands on it.
I'd like to feature your car as well...you'd just have to divulge your chip manufacturer and I'd like to throw some 17s on the thing for the shoot. I'd throw my own Volans on it, but with Project 850R and Mark's 850, I think silver Volans may be overdone for this site. Does Kai still have the OEM 17s from his C70? While it's in the shop, maybe we can use those for the shoot, or maybe I can borrow a set from Annapolis if we drive up there and shoot nearby.
Also, would you be interested in running down wiht me some afternoon to check out that Volvo tuner we heard about (Martin Motorsports I think it was) in Alexandria?
Last, on tech and FAQs... I'm all for them except for one thing. I need to be careful what I include for now. We're in the middle of exploring liability insurance, and I need to make sure we're covered before we start the serious how-to's. Right now, what's in the tech section is either light, or it's really pushing readers to go to an expert like WCC. Telling readers how to work on their own cars makes liability a little more of an issue that our company needs to explore.
Thanks for the comments. We should work on doing a photo shoot day.

George,
I think we can definitely do an article about Rob’s engine transplant first. It should be a rather interesting project alone by itself. Trust me, I’m more anxious about the C70 than anyone else. I can’t wait to comment about EIP’s service on the net when it gets done. Or maybe if they have done a good job, I might consider go easy on them or even praise them (don’t take my words for it).
Well, it might seem like the silver Volan is a bit overdone, but it sure looks a lot better than that ugly color I had before. I sold those C70’s OEM 17s even before I got my Volk III….lucky guy, got that set for less than $ 1K including some 3K miles on those Pilot MXX 3.
Like I was saying, Matt, you can always buy those chrome 17s Mark has~! Just don’t take any pictures with them, maybe get them refinished in different color.
George, I’ll be more than happy to escort you to Martin. I’d like to hear what this guy has to say about his projects and his other wagon this time. I wouldn’t take everything he says too seriously. Let’s just say that with all the hell I’ve been through, I think I know few things about these T5s
Now the T5 engine is all assembled and ready to roll. Just a matter of dropping it back to the car (with the clutch), and have everything hooked up correctly. Even after this, we will still have to wait for that 2.5K~3K mile break-in period before we can really push it. Again, I’m very flattered if Swedespeed wants to do an article about it. This will be the only site out there with the most comprehensive info and background about the car…could be the last site, too. I’m not too crazy about posting all over the Net and defeat the sleeper purpose of the car.
I’ll keep you guys updated.
George,
I'm with you 100%! Too many 850s would be a bit much however they seem to be popular among our local group. I am game to put any wheels on the car with the exception of those chrome things that Kai has. As far as the chip manufacturer, it is the original ECU in the car now. I have not (yet) put the golden one in. There is much hesitation on my part for sharing the origin of the ECU as everyone must have their secrets. In regards to the tech area, I can understand your position. I am willing to do anything within reason to help out as I want to see this site go big. Also, let me know when you want to check out the tuner in VA. I would like to see what he can do with the cars. Well gotta run for now. Guess we'll be in touch.
Prospero

Sounds like the three of us should figure a time to go down there some afternoon. Kai, do you have their number?
I have a friend with a C70 with the BBS wheels. That'd look pretty good. He owes me one now too. Perhaps if we go down to Annapolis, we can make use of that.
I'm not saying the silver Volans are overdone. I love the look personally. I just think that if we do three cars with them it might be a bit much for our readers. And I WANT to feature the white car with them. It looks great. Those wheels of Terrences get no respect though huh? I agree, I'm not a big fan either. That's okay though. We'll figure something out.

George,
I'm sure that we can make something happen in regards to the wheels. Maybe we can find some phat 20s to put on the car! (joke) Anyhow, I think later in the week around the 20th is good for me. I have a rough week ahead of me now since there is a critical deadline that I must make. In regards to the wheels that Terence had, I think Kai wanted to turn them into bar-stools or something like that. (a wee bit strange if you ask me) Those poor orphaned wheels, I almost feel bad for them. Almost. Well, thanks to Kai and Mark, I had the cahnce to install some blue LEDs into the trip computer on Friday night. They will need some adjustments but in all it looks sweet! I am going to try to finish the instrument cluster before next month. I will be doing blue, yellow, and red. Can't wait to finish. Well, gotta run off and work. Catch you all later on.
Prospero
