It all started back in July of 2001 when Anthony Hai picked up his 1995 Volvo 850 GLT. Since he already had a fire breathing 220 plus horsepower Ford Focus for hunting purposes, Anthony's first intention in getting the 850 was to have a car that was more civilized. He wanted something similar to what other commuters had in northern New Jersey. Anthony ended up getting an excellent deal on the 850, as it was going for only $10,000 and had 75,000 miles on the odometer.
Upon closer inspection, it seemed that the car needed some attention. To bring it back to original condition, Anthony had to spend some extra money in restoration, such as fixing some suspension components and doing some minor engine tune-ups. After about one month of work, the car was back to "normal" condition.
All was well, but in February of 2002 Anthony noticed something was not working in the sound system. Upon closer inspection and monitoring of the original speakers, Anthony found out that both 6x9's on the rear parcel shelf were no longer functioning. In an effort to repair the system, Anthony headed to Circuit City seeking some expert advice.
