I'm looking for a front O2 sensor for my 04 SR. FCP Euro has 4 different OEM sensors, depending on chassis number.

I just wanted to double check before i go ahead and buy one. My chassis is 356572, so it would seem like i would need o2 with pn 8677894. Also, all of the o2 sensors say "downstream". Does this matter?

The Bosch part number for the front oxygen sensor on the R is 17137. For some reason, FCP does not list any front oxygen sensor for the 2004 S60R (as you noticed, all of the 02 sensors are "downstream" sensor, i.e., the rear 02 sensor).

However, FCP does list the Bosch 17137 as the front 02 sensor for the 2004 V70R, so I am not sure why they don't also list it for the 2004 S60R.

I bought and installed the Bosch 17137 on my 2004 V70R a few years ago and it has been working without any issues.

I bought it from Amazon (currently $103 USD with free shipping), but the lifetime replacement from FCP is nice insurance.

FCP is usually pretty useless with part numbers. VIDA or the dealer are the correct way to find out. I bought the same o2 sensor as noted for mine. They are the same car, it's the right sensor.
