Faulty ABS Controller

643 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Ren Hoek
So a few months back there was talk of a man who sells rebuilt ABS modules. Apparently mine is faulty and the dealer wants close to a grand to replace it...

Symptoms include the TRAC and ABS lights remain on after starting the car and the Cruise gets disabled.

Can someone get me the info on this whole rebuild program?

What year and model is your car?
I have a used but working ABS/TRACS unit I can sell you.
It works for 99+ s,c,v or xc70's.

Let me know!

Either one, I've used both:

I doubt it.
There are FWD units, AWD units, FWD with tracs and FWD with STC
ALL are different

Well you can doubt it.
Ren, let me know the part number off of the unit and I can see what it is on the one I have for sale.
Re: (jrodT5)

All the part numbers have changed. The I doubt it was for that your module will fit all the cars you posted, it will not!
I didn't say YOURS won't fit, what I said was there are 3 or 4 different units that are not interchangable
I have a list of PN#'s that are different #'s but the same module. If he gives me the # off of it and what model car and if it's tracs/2wd/4wd/stc whatever, I can figure it out.
Jrod I appreciate your offer but JRL has given me sage advice in the past...

I'll be going with ModuleMaster...

Thanks to both of you for your help!
