0-60, probably 5.8
1/4, probably 13.7 to 14.0.
Times depend HEAVILY on ambient temp, and driver ability.

There are too many variables.
There is a realistic range, but it is definitely wider than, say a corvette.
1. AWD Hard to launch - Bog
2. Tricky clutch engagement.
3. Do a search, and you'll find very varying results.
This question is meaningless, Mike.

Keep in mind there is a big difference between MT vs. GT (mine is MT).
Totally stock with Sunoco Ultra 94 and temp around 15 deg. C here's what I averaged:
0-60: ~6.1s
1/4 mile: mid-14's
Got these #'s with a g-meter set to 12" roll-out and launched at around 3500 to 4000 RPM and shifter gears at around 5500RPM. Advanced mode and DSTC completely off. I got similar numbers over about 15 runs and I broke 6 seconds once (5.75) but I think that was a g-meter anomoly.
As others have said it really comes down to how well you can launch it ambient temp and the gas you use (I think MY06 with newer Haldex is better at launch time).
LTA
ps. Since swapping in a 3" Ferrita DP and EST-catback I now get better numbers consistantly with the same conditions (but slightly warmer temps ~20 deg. C and 4200 RPM launch RPM):
0-60: ~5.8s (consistantly under 6s)
1/4 mile: 14.1s (consistantly low 14's)
I think maybe my improved launch technique slightly outweighs the warmer temp so these mods alone won't drop your times that much.

Re: fast R not fast ?? (LTA)

i have this software called Cartest2000 which has a huge database of every car under the sun, and a boatload of specifications for each car. It lets you run various tests and you can change certain variables to see how it reacts.
i did an "optimize launch method" for the R, and it said a clutch dump at 5200 rpm is the ideal method for the conditions which i entered.
heres a couple screenshots:

Since you are in California, if you want to get the max out of a stock R, I would suggest mixing in some 100 octane. I personally think it is worth about 3/10's of a second, if not more in 0-60 times. Probably the difference between 5.5 and 5.8'ish.

Re: (flybynight)

I'll chime in on this one.....the R is very hard to launch well. I have never been one to baby a car, so I treated my R the same way. Kept it clean and drove the stink out of it.
My impressions on performance. When stock the car can be very touchy on its hp levels.....high temps kill the speed of the car. Modded the car can really be a strong runner.
I used my Gtech to test its performance several times ranging 0-60 times of 4.8 to 6.5 seconds. THAT is a huge window. I consider myself a good driver, maybe not great but good. The best times I ever got occured in colder weather obviously, but with wet weather and cold roads I could actually get all 4 wheels spinning through 1st gear and keep the rpm's up so the car didnt bog. When that happened it would rocket off the line, good shift into 2nd spin them again and your gone.
I never really did 1/4 tests, never found an area near my house were I felt comfortable staging and running to 100mph+ speeds.

Though I would chime in.........have a good one.

Re: (sniz)

I have been using CT4.5 and CarTest 2000 for almost 8 years....
The numbers you put in are close, but make your HP peak 5250 and your TQ 2500. You'll be closer to the real world.
CT knows nothing about Haldex or the bog, so the launch RPM is wrong. Due those 4000+ starts too much and you'll need a new clutch.
