Here are some of the cars that you will be seeing in the next: Fast and the Furious 2...

-Drew

R34 Skyline, Supra TT & S2K. I'm not sure if what they did to that R34 makes me happy or want to cry, I love those cars...

Well it looks like the skyline will be racing in this flick! The R33 in the first one was just around to look pretty (and it did if you take off those rediculous silver door stickers). That skyline assuming it has more mods than just a wing and neon lights should be the fastest car in the movie, likely. I guess a modded Supra is pretty even. The little honda S2000 would probably get eaten up and spit out by the two.

OK, I'm liking that skyline even more the longer I stare at it, YAY! If I had 100 grand USD to spend I'd buy that car for sure. Except I would want a stock R34 V spec II, in dark Blue!!! hmmm. where did I but that playstation controller...

Hopefully, it will be the fastest as well!
The pink S2K is nasty looking IMHO.

-Drew

Yeah, I already posted a reply on CL site few days ago. http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83065&perpage=15&pagenumber=2
That's the same Skyline which insipred me to get the HRE 446 wheels. (http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=5151) I heard in the newest European magazine, they had an S4 with the same wheels, and there's this E46 in an earlier issue has that set, too.
I think they built few "two off" cars for back up use...say one for the stunt, and the other real deal just for close up shots. Wonder what car they used for the stunt car, maybe just the 2.5GT version?

That Skyline with the light kit is Crazy! Knuckleheads everywhere will be trying to duplicate that on their Civics...
That S2000 on the other hand is just plain fugly.

This is rediculous. Supposedly there's going to be domestics in this movie, but of course the domestic guys are the bad guys and the rlcers are the heroes

Sure the Skyline is fast. But will someone match that up against a Lingenfelter Twin-Turbo Corvette or Hennessey TT Viper? Heck, even something as mundane as a turboed Ford 4.6 DOHC. Bye bye Skyline, better luck next time.
When is this movie gonna hit the theaters anyway?

This movie has my box office ticket sold already!
I bet both cars are full GTR versions, maybe if they shipped them directly without going through motorex they would be paying what everyone else in the world pays for a skyline, it just wouldn't be street legal. The DOHC version breathes even better than that. May not make 700hp, but it still moves like a mofo.
BTW, the skyline is still fugly. It only makes 700hp with bolt-ons if you consider bigger turbos a "bolt-on". "Bolt-ons" are things like intakes and exhausts. Either way, I could built a Mustang or Camaro to be faster for way less than the cost of importing a skyline, which is also fugly in my opinion. At least the Supra looks good

Many tuned Skylines and Supras (many examples by different tuners) have well over 1000hp!!! Both are equally amazing!!!
Imagine if they did match a tuned Vette & Skyline together in this movie, the script will pick the winner and either way you will have angry non-believers. That is a match on the track in real life!! If only JGTC would hold a race or two on these shorelines... say in Michegan! For sure the world would see one heck of a pay-per view race!

My personal opinion is the Skyline is the most aggresive yet understated car on the planet! (well, not the one above ) To me it is the same reason I think the S60R looks so amazing.
Japanese cars have regulated 280hp otherwise there would be Nismo cars in the nissan dealers with 700hp without "bolt-ons"! And although relevant here on the soil you stand on price is a silly comparison domestic lovers always make in every argument. That Skyline over seas is far cheeper than a Corvette, it becomes the domestic. The Corvette becomes the over priced, under horsepowered car for the money, import. Its all relative. If you wanna compare price per porformance than sinse I'm standing in Japan right now (which I'm really not ) I am comparing the new Mitsubishi EVO to the Chevy Cavalier Z24, and I must say I'm not to impressed with American cars!!
That in a nutshell is why I don't understand the fude between imports & domestics. How many movies made have fast american cars with striaght pipes smakin down the roads with no Japanese car in sight? Why don't I hear "Why no Imports!" from the import people. Let them have their movie.

I think it would be much cooler if it was car company vs. car company rather than imports vs. domestics. However, they don't cause high school aged punks to rice out their Civics and drive around like they can beat Ferraris. Street racing used to be an underground thing, and ever since the first movie came out everyone and their brother is a street racer

for the money, the supraTT packs more of a punch, looks the best too. Ya mod that up to the cost of a stock skyline, you'll be pushing 700-800hp, you can find a clean TT for under 30grand easy. Please don't bring Henessey into this, why compare a 12 cylinder car to a 6 cylinder car? And still the top Supra will dominate. Top three cars ever built, 1st Supra, 2nd Skyline, 3rd Rx-7

Take that same car to the track and then dyno it, chances are you'll see a difference. The Skyline is really pushing over 300hp.

Different size motors. They could have added bodywork on base model and thrash it, at least deep down, I hope that's what's going on! I don't need to see my favourite street cars crash, that's why I watch racing on the tube! It would upset me to learn of a real priceless gem getting destroyed... I think that started in the movie Farris Bueller's day off when that Ferrari California backed out of that high rise garage. More upsetting than Bambi getting blown away with a gatling gun
Perhapse my priorities on materialistic values is far out of wack, oh well!
