The day has finally come, I sold my R today to a fellow sailor.
2 houses and 2 cars were to much to keep up with. I thank all of you for your help insight, and correspondence. I may be back in a year after I transfer back to the east coast. Or I might be on an audi forum with a used V8 A4 that has a PES supercharger! I'll visit to see whats up?
Request permission to be piped ashore!
Military "R" (Mike)

Re: Farewell and thanks to all. R is 'GONE" (Military "R")

Better to put your dough into an appreciating asset (houses) than depreciating cars, so good call on the decision. There is always time down the road to buy another fun car. Happy trails.
Jim

Re: Farewell and thanks to all. R is 'GONE" (frankhoffy)

I Directed the young lad to swedespeed. He will be interested in the GTG as he is just as giddy as I was when I got it. He is full of questions and is ecstactic. He had a BMW dealer telling him to get a 330 but saw the light as I explained to him how 300 series are no match for the R. I was glad to sell it to a fellow sailor keeping it in the NAVY. Maybe you guys will hear from him soon.
