i installed a external blow off yesterday and know my car seams to have a lag i blocked the stock bypass but my car just doesnt feel wright can anyone shed some light on my problem thanks in advance

Might be the spring is to small and venting ealier then it should ?

What valve did you install? It's probably leaking.

Ive tested already 4 different BOV on my Volvos. A racing valve from Sandtler, a swedish JBR, a HKS SSQV and at last a Forge 2 piston BOV.

With all valves my car had problems with the air-flow-meter or leaking air at idle and a more or less annoying turbo lag.

Only the Forge 2 piston BOV fits perfectly with my 98 V70-R. I just can recommend this one.

unless your running it before the maf. venting to the atmosphere is a bad thing. your venting metered air...

Agreed and its impossilbe to run it before the maf on our cars.

Thats right, but try out the Forge, it works great with no problems.

thanks alot guys apreciate it. ive been fooling around with it took the vaccum front the stock bypass unpluged it from the intake plugged the bov vaccum to it and then blocked off a little better the stock bypass and it seemed to work
