My 05 XC90 will run out of warranty in a couple of months and I'm looking at extended warranty options. It's a low mileage vehicle, and I'm at around 24,000 miles in 4 years. I'm looking to extend it to 7 years with the lowest mileage available.
My dealer said that he would be happy to sell the VIP warranty, but also suggested an cheaper alternative, EasyCare. EasyCare is administed by the same company as VIP [APCO], and apparently offers similar coverage. He didn't have the fine print handy, but will be mailing me some stuff. He did imply that the coverage is similar, but that EasyCare would mean that I may end up with rebuilt or non-Volvo parts.
Any experiences with EasyCare? Any recommended places to get quotes for EasyCare (and VIP)?
Thank you!

Re: Extended Warranty: VIP versus EasyCare (chicagoxc90)

Recent warranty discussion from the XC70 Forum:
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=117171
IMO, not worth it for your mileage......especially with a 2.5T. If you had a T6, another story.
