Our factory warranty will expire on 12/31/06, and I'm not willing to take my chances post-warranty (reading Swedespeed too much I guess). I'll either sell/trade or buy an extended warranty before the end of the year.<p>Just got off the phone with the retailer we purchased the vehicle from and for a 2003 Volvo XC90 T6 with 39K miles, I was quoted a price of $2575 for a 5yr. extension from date of warranty purchase or 100,000 total miles. So, If I bought the warranty today it would expire on 4/15/11 or in 61K miles. This is a $200 deductible with a company called Universal Underwriters. This warranty supposedly has all the same benefits of Volvo VIP. Just wondered if anyone has had any dealings with this company and their warranty programs?
