I had my dealer install the performance appearance package on my new 2006 V50. I also had them install the exhaust tips. When they did this the tips hang very low in the back. There are no cut outs for the tips in the rear valance and there are no hangers for the exhaust in back even though it looks like there should be.
Can other V50 owners let me know whether or not they have exhaust hangers and if they have the rear valance if they have cut outs to allow for the exhaust tip clearance.
Thanks!

Re: Exhaust Hangers on V50 (mlenox)

If you look at the inside (non-painted) section of the lower rear spoiler, you will see the exchaust cut out lines your dealer has to follow for the T5. They do not come pre-cut from the factory.
Re: Exhaust Hangers on V50 (cm)

Thanks. I will take a look tomorrow. BTW there seem to be two hanger brackets under the car without any exhaust hangers. Do you know what should be there? i.e. did the dealer remove the hangers or are they normally not present?
Thanks!

the dealer must have removed the hangers and never put them back on...I'd take it in right away, I'm sure there's a lot of stress on the exhaust since the pipes as well as the muffler are supported by these hangers.
