I have a dynamic energy contract and would like to charge my EX30 at the best (cheapest) moment of the day. Therefore, I need the SoC of the EX30 in Home Assistant. Volvo doesn't have an integration yet so I bought a WiCAN WiFi canbus ODB2 module with MQTT options.
I can connect to the WiCAN module from my network, but can't get any canbus data, probably because of some unknown canbus setup I need. Did anyone manage to get canbus data from the ODB2 connector with whatever dongle and if yes, what settings do you use?
