Hopefully I'll be installing both my new EST strut brace and my EVOLVE anti-sway bar tonight, and I've read very little about whether or not these bars need to be torqued. From one post, I read that the sway bar needs to be torqued to 70-74nm (all 6 bolts or just the two on each bracket?), and in another post it says that it doesn't need to be torqued. As far as the strut brace goes, I haven't had any luck finding anything. How tight should the bar be tightened to the brackets and the brackets to the strut towers? Thanks all, much appreciated.

Re: EVOLVE Anti-Sway Bar / EST Strut Brace tightening questions (Revolve40)

Well, I installed both my ipd and my est bars without doing a specific torque, just til they were nice and tight. Haven't had any issues that I know of. Installing the rear bar was a PITA but once it is done right it does have a noticeable positive difference.

Thats funny, I had the exact opposite issue.
Rear sway bar was cake, took 30 minutes tops. The strut brace took me like 2 hours. Not to mention my KN was rubbing, so I had to completely disassemble that and get it to fit better
I did the same thing though, torqued em down till they were tight (enough) heh, whatever that means.

My EST brace was a PITA to install as well, and there is no way I am taking that off anytime soon as it looks to be just as hard to get off now. Oh well...

Got them in.
Strut Brace: The drivers' side strut bracket was a PITA to put on to say the least, but I'm very happy with the finished product.
Sway Bar: Pretty straight-forward install and the difference is substantially noticeable.
Thanks for the tips.
