Nope not the J hose. This one is the one that comes off the top center bubble port on the intake manifold. All our favorites parts suppliers sell a 3 hose pre assembled unit with the carbon check valves included.Part # is 1270480.They sell for around $100.Through a search on here the primary hose that plugs into the manifold is 12mm OD X 7MM ID.Is this correct? Will replacement fuel line or silicon hose kink where it makes a fairly sharp bend downwards? And what about the 2 other hoses. Is there a size difference with those? I am asking here because I don't want to get stuck with not having the right size stuff when I pull it out. Most likely the hoses are going to be really stuck and have to be sliced/cut to pull them off.
I would rather rebuild the hose set and save some $$$. A hundred bucks is rediculous for 3 vacuum hoses.

Please respond if you replaced yours. Thanks Guys.

I was told by members to go with 8mm id silicone hose. And got a link below from someone who used it. Reading reviews it's mixed info but I have these at had now waiting to do the same job as you. Wondering if I need new filters or they can be reused

Is this the hose that comes out from the intake manifold on the drivers side and T's to a couple other hoses? That's the only 3 hose piece I know of. I'll Google up the part number you have to what it is exactly.

And with FCP you're set for life on that part!
So it is sold as a complete set I see. With how brittle plastic gets, might be best to go with the Volvo part...

Oh yes I see that. Silicon should outlast the car.

Yes guys and many thanks:beer: Basically the same part but my chassis # is later and calls for 1270480.So both parts look identical.I wonder if there is a ID size difference though? Nice pics Matt! You nailed what I was talking about.

Thanks Lotusdoom! did you have any issue with kinking the hose where it plugs into the intake?

There's another thread here (pcv catastrophe) and this is the hose that is split in his car. Indeed, a split/torn hose here will cause all sorts of running issues and codes. I split mine a couple years ago on the S80 when doing the pcv but didn't have a large enough diameter silicon hose in my stash so ended up using something else, a thicker fuel line that I had I think. It's my daughter's car now and really don't need that phone call while she's on her way to work lol. If you guys figure out the correct size silicon I'd like to know since I probably need to go back and re-do this on her car. The key is getting it to fit on the check valves. My son's S60 is due for a pcv job soon and I might as well re-do his evap hose too while I'm in there.

I too am curious as well as I'd totally be in for doing this. Curious on if the check valves need any replacing though as inquired above... And if so, is there a cost effective but reliable alternative that can be used in place to complete this? Lastly, the OEM piece is currently $81 on Tasca...

The only current source of the check valves is from the VAG parts bin. At the price the commend this full assembly is like getting free Volvo vacuum hose.

Thanks, man.... I just noticed my hoses were cracked and sucking air, and couldn't find the size anywhere... I just ordered the silicone hose on amazon.... and probably will use zip ties instead of buying clamps.

What size silicone hoses you get I can't seem to find the size of them and my one just split yesterday and I'm not paying 100 for a couple rubber hoses
