Hey, I was reading Rolling and thought I'd pass this along. They did the European convex/split mirror conversion on one of their member's V70 XCs. They list part numbers for a range of models, so I thought I'd pass it along...
2001+ V70XC - #8650148
S80/S60 (V70?) - #9203118
700/900 - #1325951
960/940 (92+), S/V90 - #9447753
850, S/V70 -2000 - #9171308
S/V40 #3345758 (heated), #3345762 (unheated)

If you mean the blindspot side mirrors, I have these on my TT Roadster. They are excellent. You barely have to turn your head to see who is behind you or next to you. I highly recommend them.

I got mine in Germany but you can get them from Stratmosphere. http://www.stratmosphere.com/tt_blindspot_mirrors.htm

As far as I'm concerned they should be standard safety equipment.
Never considered the legality.

Re: (tvman)

You'd have to check with your dealer. I don't know that all dealers can get them, but Borton Volvo can from what I understand. Also, you could check with a Volvo Penta Marine dealer as I know that's where the people from VCOA sourced them.
