I officially trashed my second front winglet this morning and I need to look into replacing the left & right lower pieces of the Sport Package on my R. I'm figuring $240 for parts and does anyone have an idea what the paint & installation charge will be?

Just trying to get an idea before getting some quotes...

TIA,

Derek

Re: Estimated cost to replace Sport Package front "winglets"? (bb vign)

They're about $125 or so EACH,
PLUS paint and install.
You should be able to get them painted for 100 to 130, (hopefully) less.
At the most, install is about 10 minutes per side, glue, (stick 'um tape) and one rivit if I remember

awesome thread -- ive had mine off forever because they actually broke off on parking stops and such....

was wondering how much it would cost to replace the...because i forgot how good it looks with them on

how much would a front bumper be to replace? the air dam on mine is all warped from getting caught on curbs and parking stops....

im thinking i might jsut replace it with the evolve bumper and forget about fixing the original with the front splitters...

so cool to see this thread, I thought I was the only lousy driver out there but now I see its the car, not us that's the issue. I've busted both sides and had them repaired. Luckily this auto body guy felt bad for me and just puts them back on for me whenever I mess them up. Front left one is peeling off slightly so its due for a repair.
Only car I've ever owned that you have to park 3 feet away from the tire block in a parking spot.

i took a risk buying the sport kit on my R with living in S.E. PA, but i love the look so much its worth it. im actually thinking about getting a set of the winglets to keep on hand (unpainted) in the event that i snap one off.
